I have a residence visa, now I just need a job.
Applying for a residence visa might be painful here, in that, you have to get up ridiculously early and wait in line, then run like someone's holding a gun to your head to get a number, and then wait for hours and hours and hours until your number is called....
But it sure beats the Danish system of getting up ridiculousy early, waiting in line, running like someone's holding a gun to your head to get a number, and then waiting for hours and hours and hours until your number is called, and then waiting for upwards of 6 months for absolutely nothing to happen. Oh yeah, and the pleasant little fee of 1600 kr for renewal....
I went to my appointment yesterday, and within 20 minutes had a work/residence permit in my passport. Best part: it cost 30 euros.
Good news: I can work!
Bad news: I don't have a job.
More good news: Jed has a job! Hurray! The downside of this is that we no longer get to spend the day working next to each other, and I will probably have to cook or something.
Yeah.
Oh. the reason I started posting in the first place was because I just made 3 new spreads in my portfolio, because I wanted to show some of my Awesome AutoCAD/Rhino Skillz. These will replace my chair project, to fill out my more 'architectural' projects.
