WE ARE HERE is a multi-part community engaged work in the new Triangle Park of the Lawrence Heights neighbourhood in Toronto. Consisting of words and phrases to be developed with community members, the piece proudly exclaims the past, present, and future residents of this revitalized neighbourhood. Operating at a variety of scales from a billboard to a small stage to imprints of names within the concrete sidewalk, WE ARE HERE seeks through its creation and fabrication processes to include community members of all backgrounds.
