Toronto Botanical Garden

Landscape Visualization

Working with PMA Landscape Architects and planting designers Phyto Studio, I helped to visualize the transformation of the Toronto Botanical Gardens from a small garden to a world-class destination.

The expansion includes renovation of existing gardens, new buildings, gathering spaces, and a 100-meter pedestrian bridge linking the garden over a natural ravine. Phyto is developing a series of garden spaces that is an elegant, stylized expression of the historic tablelands and ravines landscapes that once typified the site.Working within the parameters of an approved master plan, Phyto has re-shaped the concepts for the core gardens, focusing on putting colorful and dynamic ecological horticulture in the forefront of the main gardens.
